Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
This policy explains what information MyHomeService360 collects and how we use it. It covers the MyHomeService360 website, the contractor web app (including dashboard.myhomeservice360.com and the sign-in pages we host for contractors) and the MyHomeService360 Pro mobile app for iPhone and Android. MyHomeService360 is operated by The Compendium Company, LLC ("we", "us").
Who this applies to
Our customers are home service businesses ("contractors") and the people who work for them. Contractors also use MyHomeService360 to keep records about their own customers. For those records, the contractor decides what to collect and why, and we process the information on the contractor's behalf. If you're a homeowner with a question about information a contractor holds about you, please contact that contractor first. We'll help them respond.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, username, email address, phone number, company, role and password (stored only as a one-way hash).
- Business records you enter: customers, jobs, schedules, estimates, invoices, notes, signatures, photos and files you upload.
- Location: when you allow it, the app uses your device's location for job check-ins and, when you take a card payment with Tap to Pay, to attach the location to that payment. Card networks and our payment processor require location for in-person payments to help prevent fraud. The app doesn't track your location in the background.
- Payment information: card payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers are entered on Stripe's own pages or read by Stripe's Tap to Pay software, go directly to Stripe, and are never seen or stored by us. We keep records of the payment itself (amount, date, status and the invoice it paid).
- Usage and device information: basic technical data such as IP address, browser or app version, device type, pages visited and error logs. The web app uses Google Analytics to understand how features are used.
- Camera and photos: only when you choose to take or attach a photo to a job.
How we use information
- To provide the service: sign-in, scheduling, dispatch, invoicing, payments and support.
- To process payments through Stripe and keep accurate financial records.
- To keep the service secure, prevent fraud and fix problems.
- To send messages about your account or the service, such as password resets.
- To improve the service, using aggregated usage information.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
- Service providers who help us run MyHomeService360, such as Amazon Web Services (hosting), Stripe (payments), Google (analytics and maps) and our email and text-message providers. They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
- The contractor you work for or with. Information inside a company's account is visible to that company's authorized users.
- When the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, the public or us.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger or sale, subject to this policy.
Keeping information safe
Information is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and stored on access-controlled servers. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and sign out on shared devices.
How long we keep it
We keep account and business records while the account is active and as needed for legal, tax and accounting requirements. A company administrator can ask us to delete the company's data when they close the account.
Your choices
- You can turn off location, camera or photo access in your phone's settings at any time. Some features, such as Tap to Pay, won't work without location.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information by emailing info@thecompendiumco.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time and as applicable law requires.
- To delete your user account, ask your company administrator or email us. Deleting a user doesn't delete the company's business records.
Children
MyHomeService360 is for businesses and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll let account holders know.
