Frequently asked questions

Is it really free forever?

Yes. The software is free forever: scheduling and dispatch, customers, estimates and proposals, invoicing, accounting, your website and the apps, for unlimited users. It isn’t a trial, and there’s no credit card to start and no contract. Card payments cost 3.9% + 30¢, and ACH bank payments cost up to 1.8% (never more than $10). Paid add-ons are optional: the phone system is $79/month* (one business number with calls and texting, the AI receptionist, after-hours on-call dispatch and Compendium Capture), and payroll (coming December 2026) is $39/month + $6 per employee. Read the free-forever promise.

What costs money?

Only services you choose: card payments (3.9% + 30¢), bank payments (up to 1.8%, never more than $10 a payment), the phone system + AI receptionist ($79/month* add-on, includes after-hours on-call dispatch and texting), optional bill pay ($39 a month per office, only in months you use it) and payroll when it launches (December 2026, $39/month + $6 per employee).

Is the AI receptionist included free?

No. The AI receptionist is part of the phone system add-on, $79 a month*, which also includes after-hours on-call dispatch, texting, your business line and call recordings.

How do I sign in?

Go to dashboard.myhomeservice360.com and enter your Business ID, username and password. Your Business ID is in your welcome email.

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Ask your account owner or office manager to reset it, or to email you a set-password link, from Users & Permissions.

How many users can I add?

As many as you need. Every user is free.

Which phones does the app work on?

The pro app is available for Android now. On iPhone and iPad, add it to your home screen from Safari; the full iPhone app is coming to the App Store.

Is Tap to Pay available?

On supported Android phones in the pro app, yes. Tap to Pay on iPhone is coming as soon as Apple approves our app. Until then, send a pay link or use Android.

When does money reach my bank?

Card payments are paid out to the bank account you connect, on Stripe’s payout schedule for your account. Bank (ACH) payments take about four business days to clear.

Will the app message my customers on its own?

No. Every automatic message starts off, and you turn on only the ones you want.

Can I import data from my old software?

Yes. Export a CSV or Excel file from your old software or a spreadsheet and use Import Data in Settings.

Is payroll available?

Payroll is coming in December 2026 as a paid add-on, $39/month + $6 per employee. Today you can track and approve hours, and import ADP payroll reports.

How does the referral network pay me?

When a job you referred is paid within 90 days, you earn 30% of the network fee, up to $500 a job. Earnings are held 30 days after the payment settles and pay out to your bank once you reach $25.

Is my data safe?

Access is by role, so each person sees only what their job needs, and you can sign someone out of all devices or deactivate them at any time.

How do I move a job to another tech or time?

On the dispatch board, drag the job to another tech’s column or another time. On an iPad or phone, press and hold the job first. Right-click a job for Move to… if you’d rather pick from a list, and use Undo if you change your mind.

Does the app check addresses?

Yes. Every address form checks the address as you type and offers a corrected version if there is one. It never stops you saving what you typed.

Where do the Update and Home buttons live now?

In the side menu. Update app is under Settings, and Update ready appears at the bottom of the menu when a new version is out. Dashboard at the top takes you home.
