Step 1: Open the visit
A plan visit shows a gold banner on the ticket, for example HVAC Plus: Visit 1 of 2 · 24 items, with a progress bar. Tap it, or the ⭐ Plan tab.
Step 2: Work each unit
The checklist comes from the plan’s tier (Essential, Plus or Premium) and lists the steps for every unit the plan covers, grouped by system: electrical, airflow, coils, condensate, refrigeration, performance, safety. Each step says what to record, the skill and safety note, and what’s included versus a repair, so you don’t do uncovered work under the plan.
Step 3: Enter readings
Steps that ask for numbers have fields: supply voltage, compressor amps, condenser fan and blower amps, capacitor µF (rated and measured), pressures, superheat and subcooling, return and supply temperatures (the split is worked out for you), static pressure and more. The expected range comes from the unit’s data plate when we have it (for example compressor amps against the RLA). Anything outside the range is flagged in orange.
Step 4: Mark each step
Tap Good, Attention, Fail or N/A, add a note, and take a photo if it helps. N/A needs a short reason.
Step 5: Complete the visit
You can’t complete the visit until the required steps are done. If something truly can’t be finished, the office can override the checklist with a reason. When you complete it, the visit report goes into the customer’s record and their homeowner app, with the needs-attention items at the top.

Questions about this
Where do the checklists come from?
From the platform’s detailed maintenance workbook: about 6,700 steps across 60 trades, with Essential, Plus and Premium tiers. Your region’s notes (for example humidity and storm prep in the Southeast) show at the top of the visit.
The amps have no expected range
Photograph the unit’s data plate first (🏠 Home → the unit → 📷 Read the tag). Once the RLA and FLA are on file, the ranges show up.
