What Compendium Tokens are, plainly: closed-loop store credit, denominated in US dollars, spendable only on Compendium products. They are not a cryptocurrency, they are not tradeable, they carry no ownership in anything, and they do not track the value of the company. Every token you earn is written to a hash-chained ledger, so the number in your account cannot be quietly changed. A referral earns a commission once that operator is genuinely trading on the platform: payments connected, at least $2,500 settled net of fees and refunds, and at least three separate paying customers. Signups alone earn nothing, which is what keeps the program honest.
Anyone can run money through their own card in an afternoon. Getting three unrelated people to actually pay is the part that cannot be faked, so that is the part we measure.
