Punch lists with homeowner sign-off (contractors)

Step 1: Open Punch Lists
Open Main → Punch Lists. It’s there for general contractors and kitchen and bath remodelers. Type a project name, pick the customer and press Start a punch list.
Step 2: Add what’s left
Add each item with its room or area, what still needs doing and who’s on it (your crew or a sub). Items are grouped by room.
Step 3: Photos and done
Press 📷 Before or 📷 After on an item to add photos from your phone. When the work’s finished, press Mark done. Your crew can do this too.
Step 4: Send the homeowner their link
Press Share with customer to copy a private link, then text or email it to the homeowner. They don’t need an account. For each item marked done they press Approve, or Needs more work with a note and a photo. You see their answer on the item right away.
Step 5: Tie finished work to each draw
Link the project to the customer’s approved estimate. Each draw you bill from it (see Bill by milestone in the remodel estimate) shows up under Draws. On a finished item, pick the draw it belongs to, and the homeowner’s page shows what each payment covers.
Step 6: Close the project
When the job’s done, press Close project. The homeowner’s link stays readable, but nothing more can be signed off. You can reopen it any time.

What does it cost?
Punch lists are $39 per active project a month. A project counts in any month it’s open, so close it when the job’s done. We’ll tell you before billing starts.
Does the homeowner need an app or an account?
No. They open the private link on their phone or computer, type their name and approve each item.
Who can see the link?
Anyone who has it, so send it only to the homeowner. The page doesn’t show your costs, other customers or anything in your books.
