Step 1: Open the Maintenance plans tab
Open Settings → Price Book Setup and click ⑥ Maintenance plans. You start with system types for your trades, residential through light commercial: split AC, heat pump, gas furnace, mini-split, package unit, boiler, rooftop unit, walk-in cooler and freezer, ice machine, water heaters, softeners, sump pumps, pool equipment, panels, generators and more. Tick Show all trades to see the rest.
Step 2: Set your prices
Each system has an Essential, Plus and Premium level with visits a year and a price per system per year (for example $170 for 2 visits). Starter prices are marked Sample price until you change them. Untick Offer to hide a level.
Commercial refrigeration uses quarterly (4) and monthly (12) visits, from the light commercial checklists.
Step 3: See what you check
Click What we check on any system. The list comes from the detailed maintenance checklists, written in plain words and grouped by area (thermostat and controls, airflow, cooling, drainage, electrical, safety and your visit report), with a short note on why each area matters. Items only on higher plans are marked, and seasonal focus (for example spring and mid-summer cooling in the Southeast) comes from your region.
Step 4: Set the multi-system discount
Under Multi-system discount, set the % off for 2, 3, 4 and 5 or more systems (the starting table is 0, 10, 15, 20 and 25%) and click Save discount & terms. Here you also choose whether plans renew each year and how many days’ notice a cancellation needs.
Step 5: Add any other system
Under Add a system type, pick any equipment from the maintenance checklists, a plan level and a price. Its checklist comes with it.
