Take a card with Compendium Tap

Compendium Tap is our separate Tap to Pay app. Sign in with this same login, pick an open invoice, and your customer taps their card on your iPhone. The payment lands on the invoice and in your books.

  1. Step 1: Connect Stripe first

Compendium Tap pays into the same Stripe account as your pay links and the Pro app. If you haven’t connected it yet, do that on Money → Payments. See getting paid.

  2. Step 2: Sign in with your own login

Open Compendium Tap on your iPhone, choose MyHomeService360, and sign in with the username and password you use here. There’s no new account. People whose role can take card payments can use it.

  3. Step 3: Pick the invoice

Compendium Tap lists your open invoices with the amount due. Pick one and the amount fills in. The Compendium Tap button on Money → Payments explains the app and links to the App Store once it’s out.

  4. Step 4: Take the payment

Hold your iPhone out. The customer taps their card, phone or watch on the back of it. The payment goes to your Stripe account and the invoice is marked paid and posted to your books, exactly like Tap to Pay in the Pro app. Card payments cost 3.9% + 30¢.

Coming soon. Compendium Tap arrives on the App Store once Apple approves it. Until then, use Tap to Pay in the Pro app or send a pay link.
