Starter handyman items
When you pick handyman at signup these 8 items load into your price book with descriptions. Set your own prices, then add the rest of your services and parts.
Hourly Rate
General handyman labor charged hourly with a one-hour minimum, billed in half-hour increments after that. Materials are additional at cost plus markup, agreed before purchase.
Half-Day Rate
Four hours of labor for a list of small jobs, which is usually better value than hourly once you have three or more tasks. Materials additional.
Full-Day Rate
Eight hours for a larger punch list or a single bigger project. Materials additional. Worth scoping the list in advance so the day runs efficiently.
TV Wall Mount
Locate studs, mount the bracket, hang the set and route cables, with the mount level and load-rated. Bracket supplied by you or quoted separately. In-wall cable routing is additional.
Door Install / Adjustment
Hang a new door or adjust and re-hang an existing one including hardware and strike alignment. Priced per door; frame replacement and structural issues are quoted separately.
Drywall Patch
Cut, patch, tape, mud and sand a small hole ready for paint, priced per patch up to a foot square. Painting is separate — matching existing paint reliably needs the original color.
Shelving / Cabinet Install
Mount shelving or cabinets fixed to studs and levelled, charged hourly. Flat-pack assembly is included in the same rate.
Grab Bar / Safety Rail Install
Fit a grab bar into studs or with rated anchors, load-tested after fitting. Priced per bar. Correct fixing matters more than the bar — this is not a job for drywall anchors alone.
Tasks with parts attached
Flat-rate tasks can carry the parts they use, so the price and the parts list stay in step.
